Inspired by the small town theaters of the 1930s and 40s and the Art Deco style of its time, Cinema Moderne encapsulates an era. We created this unique font to emphasize the distinct characteristics from the Art Moderne style and architecture—curving forms, long horizontal lines, and nautical elements. Although many of the architectural masterpieces have been lost forever, we’re preserving its memory in a small way through this unforgettable font.
